Benson

Who is Natasha Benson?

I am an artist and the founder of NaBe Art and Green Room.

Why do I create? I create for the little girls around the world who look in the mirror at early ages and don’t like what they see. For the moms who miss what they look like pre-baby. For the women who think they could lose a few pounds because society told them that what they were, wasn’t good enough. I create for me, who grew up so uncomfortable in my body that I learned to appreciate my body the way that I could appreciate the bodies that I paint. If my paintings are artwork, why aren’t we?

Throughout my life, I’ve come across a lot of insecurities in myself and heard stories of other women's' insecurities circling around body image and what society believes is beautiful. I want my audience, my women and my girls all around the world, to know that no matter what shape or size you are, however short or tall, no matter what you look like on the outside, you ARE a masterpiece. God created you in the image he believed to be perfect and I’m here to remind you that through my art and rebrand. I am here to help you find yourself, love yourself and take care of yourself while in a world of people trying to force you to hate yourself and abandon yourself.

What is the Significance of Nabe Green Room?

How does this brand represent me?

Art

I believe there is a message to be found in each piece of my artwork. A message that only you, the viewer, can interpret and create for yourself. From being a sketch artist, starting at the young age of 4, to discovering my talents and skills in painting, I have spent the last 20+ years finding my purpose in the art world. Every painting I create comes from a vision or a dream, so I know that I have God on my side, sending messages through me, through my art, to you. I pray you leave here feeling encouraged and inspired.

Health and Wellness

Obtaining a psychology degree in 2019, I am furthermore pursuing a certification as a wellness and nutrition coach. I believe to truly understand what we need, we must fully understand how the body, the mind and the brain work. To fully pour into others, we must fully pour into ourselves, but this can feel impossible if we don't know where to even begin. Loving ourselves doesn't have to be hard, we just have to find the answers to the questions we're seeking.
